Beach Clean Up Drives
Change Is Us organises beach clean-ups every weekend at the Girgaum Chowpatty beach, Mumbai. Beaches are fun only when they are clean. Our vision is to make sure we have a cleaner beach and a healthier marine ecosystem for future generations. We hope to achieve this by spreading awareness about the importance of being more mindful of waste disposal. Beach cleanups allow people to confront pollution head-on and realise the magnitude of the situation. Change begins small, but it begins with you. Only one question remains, in the words of Taylor Alison Swift: Are you ready for it?
Donation Drives
Change Is Us focuses on environmental as well as social change- which is why we host donation drives where we distribute food, sanitary napkins, chocolates, clothes etc. among those who need them. We have distributed over 40,000 freshly cooked food boxes, 20,500 sanitary napkin packets, clothes and footwear. The help and support we provide ranges from food to sanitation.
We also organise Happiness Drives, where we visit old age homes, orphanages and people with disabilities. We play games and organise activities to bring a smile to their faces. We believe that we make a living by what we get, but we make a life with what we give.
